Editor-in-Chief

Neng Dai, MD, PhD, FACC

Department of Cardiology, State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Diseases, National Clinical Research Center for Interventional Medicine, Chinese Noninvasive Imaging and Physiology Study Group (CHART), Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai, China

Dr. Neng Dai is a distinguished cardiologist specializing in cardiovascular imaging and physiology. He earned his M.D., Ph.D. in Cardiology from Tongji University in 2015 and trained in molecular imaging and systems biology at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School (2014-2016). He completed his postdoctoral fellowship under Professor Junbo Ge at Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University (2018–2020) and advanced training in interventional cardiology.

His research leverages non-invasive imaging (CT/SPECT), biomechanics, radiomics, and AI to identify lesion-specific ischemia, plaque stability, and imaging biomarkers for predicting cardiovascular events before acute manifestations.

Dr. Dai has published in high-impact journals (JAMAJACCRadiology) and secured prestigious grants, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (Category B). He serves as an NSFC Review Expert, Associate Editor of Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging (a leading journal in cardiovascular imaging under the American Heart Association), and co-founder/Secretary-General of the Cardiovascular Noninvasive Imaging and Functional Club (CHART). His work aligns with advancing clinical translation of imaging technologies to improve diagnostic precision, treatment decisions, and equitable healthcare access.
